Ever since I can remember, I have liked racing for a few reasons-the thunderous noise, high speeds, high horsepower, and the high amount of excitement and adrenaline. By being associated and involved with racing, I have learned the meaning of hard work by always maintaining my racecar well. Another trait that I have acquired is a great amount of self-confidence. Being involved with racing has taught me the value of hard work and the true meaning of fun.
The 2005 season for me was far better than I expected. I scored a few second place finishes and other top five finishes, which was a great boost to my confidence that carried me through the remainder of the season.
The 2006 season found me at five different local area tracks. With only top five best feature finishes and a heat race win. 2006 proved to be a year of learning and building.
For the 2007 racing season, I will be joined with team mate, and friend, Sammy Stile. I was excited when Sam decided to join our racing family. Sam and I have put together a very aggressive racing schedule for 2007. As the schedule stands, at the beginning of the season, we will be traveling to over a dozen tracks in the tri-state area. I am looking forward to the 2007 season with great anticipation.
There are a lot of people that make my racing possible and I would like to thank them. Ed and Gayle Ferree allow me to work from their fantastic race shop that is adjacent to their home. Anthony, Mark and Steve from Rocket Chassis provide me not only with great cars and parts, but also with knowledge and insight that I could not find anywhere else. Frankland Racing Supply provides me their great products, which I am thankful for as well. Lastly, Doug and Shawn Domhoff have provided us with engine packages that are second to none. The power and drivability of these motors is fantastic. We raced this entire season without a single engine problem, further pointing to the quality of their work. Thanks again! |
